          Tyler “Tye Knox” Nash, was born in a Milford, Connecticut hospital on January 29th, 1989. He lived in Milford until he was in 6th grade when his family moved to Charleston, Rhode Island. In middle school, he first listened to Nelly's first album Country Grammar which opened up a new love. He then  started listening to Eminem, Jedi Mind Tricks, The LOX, The Notorious BIG, and so on. In high school, he began going to a local engineers house in Westerly Rhode Island. In 2007, Knox graduated from Chariho High School and later that year went into the United States Navy in November of 2007. 

 

        After 2 months of boot camp followed by 2 months of advanced school, or A School, Knox went to his first command in 2008 on the aircraft carrier, USS John C. Stennis for 5 years. From 2008 to 2013, Knox spent more than 3 years being out to sea, completing 3 different deployments. Being a Boatswain's Mate, Knox learned seamanship, anchoring, supervision skills, underway replenishment knowledge, watch standing, splicing, and much more.  During this time, Knox got married in 2010 and had his daughter in 2011. After his daughter being born, Knox did not pursue his rap skills but focused on instrumentals and song production after being introduced to FL Studio. In 2013, Knox transferred to his next command station near his hometown in Groton, CT.

 

       Being at the Sub Base in Groton, CT, Knox spent 3 years running small boat operations for the nuclear submarines with Port Operations. He also spent a year working with base security being qualified in the Beretta Handgun, M4 assault rifle, Mossberg shotgun, and the 240 machine gun. During this time, Knox had divorce separating himself from his ex wife and daughter. Being in the military for his family, because of his divorce, Knox decided to have a career change then began to pursue a bachelor's degree at Bay State College in Boston in January of 2016.

 

       From 2016 to 2020, Knox had a memorable time in college and also began to pick up another hobby as a DJ. Knox then spent his weekends Djing at bars in Quincy, the Glass Slipper strip club in Boston, the Middle East music venue, a women only dance / exercise class in Revere, charity parties in Cape Cod, and birthday parties for friends. Know has been recording and producing music for clients throughout the Boston Area building his buzz track by track. In 2020 Knox graduated with his bachelor's degree and is currently pursuing his dream in Boston, MA.

       As Knox graduated college in December 2019, COVID became rampant, shutting down the world and putting a halt on Knox’s career. Everyday during COVID Tye wrote a song or verse everyday. The next career path Knox chose was welding submarines for the US Navy at Electric Boat Quonset. After 2 years of being a welder on the floor, Knox was offered a supervisor position. Tye Knox quit the company he worked for to start his own company, TFTV Media in January of 2023. With already obtaining his dBa for his music, Knox now runs two businesses on the day to day operations.
